No! We only charge by the linear foot and it is our standard practice to only charge for the actual amount installed. We don't feel its a good business practice to charge customers extra or for more than they are actually getting. It's the right thing to do and it just makes sense.
We provide a one year warranty against all material defects, workmanship, buckling, heaving and separation of our product. If any of these listed failures do occur, we will repair or replace the affected area with the matching color and design previously installed as soon as possible. Cracking, abuse, neglect, improper drainage, improper usage and all weather related damages, including flooding and water run off are NOT covered under the warranty.
We have over 50 colors to choose from. Simply let us know your preference when scheduling your free no obligation estimate, and we will be sure to bring samples that will perfectly complement your home or existing landscaping. Unlike some of the curbing you may see which simply has an overcoat over plain concrete, we use an integral color which is added while the cement is mixing. This is not a dye or stain, but rather an iron oxide pigment that produces a solid color through the concrete. Should the curbing ever become chipped, there will never be unsightly gray concrete showing through.
On every installation the owner and our professional crew will be present and working on your job. This ensures that all jobs will be completed with high quality and our superior craftsmanship. If you have any questions or last-minute changes, we are on-site to respond.
Absolutely! Although your imagination is the limit, our experience often enables us to see possibilities that you might miss. We will be happy to listen to your ideas and make suggestions to improve not only the appearance of your landscaping, but also to make maintenance simpler.
Many home or business owners mistakenly assume that because the concrete edging is professionally installed it is prohibitively expensive. This is certainly not the case! When taking into account the time, labor, and expense of do-it-yourself methods, having your landscape curbing project installed by professionals who have the equipment and knowledge to do the job quickly, and right the first time, is certainly cost effective.
No. You can purchase landscaping brick or blocks at any home improvement store to use as edging; however, our product is specifically designed to eliminate all of the problems associated with individually placed blocks, such as tipping, shifting, and unevenness. With a wide base and continuous run, our curbing stays exactly where you want it, year after year. Our professional crew does the installation for you, so you won't need to go back-and-forth to the store, lift heavy blocks, level the ground or dig a trench.
Some fading can and may occur over time, but this is natural for any outdoor color application, especially in the harsh Florida sun. We do apply a UV-protectant sealant during the installation to minimize against fading. We highly recommended having our special UV protectant sealer reapplied at least once a year to minimize fading and to help preserve the overall appearance and quality of the curb.
No. The curb is extruded into place by a special concrete extruding machine. The operator steers the machine to create straight runs, circles, and curves allowing nearly unlimited design flexibility.
All concrete over time will eventually develop some cracking. To minimize cracking, we first add reinforcing polymer fibers directly into the concrete mixture for added strength. Once on the ground, we cut control joints into the curb every 36-48 inches to allow for ground movement. On most of the patterns these cuts are not even noticed.
No. There will be no heavy equipment or concrete trucks on your property. Some minimal amounts of sand and small pieces of concrete will be leftover after installation is complete, however most of this will wash out during the next rainfall.
We do our best to ensure your home or business will be left looking just as good as when we arrived!
Depending on the layout, design, style, required preparation work and amount of the curbing and or size of the landscaping project to be installed, most jobs can be completed in one day.
